What is in the report

  • 01

Site walk and electrical condition review.

A licensed electrician walks your panels, gear, equipment feeds, lighting and life-safety circuits. The report records what we found, with photos.

  • 02

    Priority list of issues, ranked.

Safety, reliability and operational issues in order, so you know what to deal with first.

  • 03

    Budget ranges for each correction.

You can plan the spend before anyone sends a quote.

  • 04

Urgent repairs separated from planned upgrades.

What needs fixing now is split from what can go in next year's budget.

  • 05

Written scope for approval or bidding.

Clear enough to take to management for approval, or to send to other contractors for bids.

  • 06

    Recommended maintenance cadence.

How often the building should be checked, and what each visit should cover.

  • 07

Any fee credited toward the work.

If there is a fee, it comes off corrective work you approve within 30 days.

Is this right for your building?

A modern laboratory during the workday, benches lined with powered instruments under overhead service drops, two researchers in lab coats working in soft focus at the far benches.

It is for you if:

  • 01

Your facility has no electrical department

  • 02

The same breaker, lights or equipment keep failing

  • 03

You have planned work and want a scope before you spend

  • 04

You need a written document to get budget approved

It is not for:

  • 01

A single outlet or fixture repair. Call us for that: (737) 301-4536.

  • 02

    Residential property

  • 03

A quick quote with no report. The written report is the point of the assessment.

Cost and credit

We quote the assessment after a short call about your building. The size of the facility sets how long the walk takes.

Facility sizeSite walk
Under 25,000 sq ft3 to 4 hours
25,000 to 50,000 sq ft5 to 6 hours
50,000 to 100,000 sq ftOne full day
Over 100,000 sq ftScoped on a call

The 30-day credit: when there is an assessment fee, the full fee is credited toward corrective work you approve within 30 days of getting the report.

What counts as approved: A signed Stratos proposal or purchase order dated within 30 days of report delivery. The credit is capped at the assessment fee.

What this assessment is not

You get a condition review and a planning document. It is not an NFPA 70B Level 2 maintenance program, and it is not a compliance certification. It tells you what we found, what we recommend and what it will cost, so you can decide what to do.

Questions

How long does the walk take?

Under 25,000 sq ft, 3 to 4 hours. 25,000 to 50,000 sq ft, 5 to 6 hours. 50,000 to 100,000 sq ft, one full day. Over 100,000 sq ft, we scope it on a call. We plan the route with your team so we reach panels, gear and equipment rooms without getting in the way.

Do you need to shut anything down?

No. Nothing is shut down. Our electricians open panel covers safely, following NFPA 70E procedures and wearing the right PPE.

Can we use the report to get bids from other contractors?

Yes. The written scope is built for internal approval or vendor bidding. The fee credit applies only to work Stratos does.

Is this an NFPA 70B program or a compliance inspection?

No. It is a condition review and planning document. It does not certify compliance with NFPA 70B or any other standard. It is often the first step: the equipment it records becomes the start of your NFPA 70B maintenance program.

What happens after we get the report?

You decide. Approve any of the work, bid it out, or keep the report for planning. Approve corrective work with Stratos within 30 days and any assessment fee is credited in full toward it.
